Job summary

Yahoo Holdings Inc. is seeking a Sr. Director, CRM to lead Yahoo's centralized CRM organization and own the performance of the channel portfolio—engagement, retention, and revenue.

You will shape program architecture, govern contact strategy, and drive deliverability and data integrity across email, push, SMS, and other surfaces. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics and Legal to set multi-year roadmaps, define KPIs, and scale AI-enabled personalization while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• 12+ years in CRM, lifecycle marketing, retention, or customer engagement with leadership experience.
• Accountability for channel performance at consumer scale with measurable outcomes.
• Experience defining program architecture, contact cadence, and prioritization across multiple products.
• Leadership of campaign operations, including technical execution, QA, and optimization.
• Deep knowledge of email, push, SMS, newsletters, triggered journeys, and personalization.
• Proven ability to govern platform integrations and partner with Product/Engineering roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Own CRM channel performance end to end with targets for reach, engagement, retention, and revenue.
• Set multi-year vision and annual roadmaps for the CRM organization and lead senior leaders.
• Define roles of each vehicle (email, push, SMS, newsletters, in-product messaging) and governance rules.
• Translate objectives into working programs with architecture, triggers, segmentation, and data plumbing.
• Oversee contact strategy, frequency caps, suppression rules, and channel calendar.
• Direct testing and codify learnings into standards, improving efficiency via modularization.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on roadmaps for events, APIs, data feeds, and real-time messaging.
• Incubate and scale AI-enabled personalization and new messaging surfaces with production paths.
• Partner with Analytics to define KPIs, experiments, and insight loops for scale decisions.
