Job summary

Yahoo Holdings Inc. seeks a Sr. Director, CRM to lead Yahoo’s centralized CRM organization, owning channel performance and the end-to-end lifecycle across email, push, SMS, newsletters, and more.

The role drives engagement, retention, and revenue while shaping program architecture and data workflows. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Legal to define roadmaps, governance, and measurement frameworks, and lead AI-enabled personalization initiatives at scale in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• 12+ years in CRM, lifecycle marketing, retention, marketing operations, or customer engagement, incl. leading leaders.
• Experience owning channel strategy in a high-volume org.
• Experience leading campaign operations across multiple products/business units.
• Deep knowledge of email, push, SMS, newsletters, triggers, personalization.
• Strong knowledge of CRM platforms, event-based triggers, APIs, data, content, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own CRM channel performance end to end against scale, quality, efficiency targets (reach, engagement, deliverability, cost).
• Set multi-year vision and annual CRM roadmap; lead senior leaders in Channel Strategy, Operations, and Innovation.
• Define the role of each vehicle (email, push, SMS, newsletters, in‑product messaging) and orchestration logic.
• Translate objectives into program architecture, segment and triggers, cadence, sequencing, and data plumbing for personalization.
• Oversee governance, budget, SLAs, quality assurance, and drive efficiency through modularization and automation.
