Job summary

Fanatics is seeking a Senior CRM Developer to own end-to-end CRM journeys on Adobe Journey Optimizer within a hybrid team in Redwood City, CA. You will design real-time and batch journeys, craft personalized content, and drive data integrations powering fan engagement across channels.

Responsibilities include building email, SMS, and push templates, conducting A/B tests, debugging journey issues, and collaborating with marketers and engineers to deliver scalable, AI-assisted experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and building personalized, real-time customer journeys on an enterprise marketing platform (e.g., Adobe Journey Optimizer, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, or Iterable).
• Proven experience building behavior-driven programs (abandoned cart, browse retargeting, replenishment) beyond static lists.
• Experience with custom data models and integrations, including event ingestion, profile data management, and API connectivity.
• Strong HTML and CSS for responsive email development, plus templating in Handlebars, AMPscript, Liquid, or Jinja.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex journey and data issues end-to-end.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with ability to translate requirements for marketers to technical trade-offs.
• Experience managing code in GitHub with CI/CD and tracking work in Jira.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement real-time and batch customer journeys, triggered by fan behavior.
• Develop responsive email, SMS, and push templates and reusable components.
• Plan and execute A/B and multivariate tests to improve engagement and conversions.
• Troubleshoot delivery issues end-to-end and diagnose root causes.
• Collaborate with marketers, analysts, and tech leads to align on solutions.
• Own code changes from design through production deployment with CI/CD.
