Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Technician to install, fix, and upgrade cranes and hoists in customer locations. You will troubleshoot complex crane systems, lead field technicians, and serve as the liaison between management and customers in a safety-first environment.

The role requires 5–7 years in crane repair/maintenance, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. On-call and after-hours work are common, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years crane repair and maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to work off the ground at various heights.
• Basic computer skills for crane inspection programs.
• Ability to communicate well and work independently or as a team.
• Knowledge of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• On-call and after-hours service as required.
• Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes in the field.
• Train and mentor field technicians.
• Perform OSHA required hoist and crane inspections and generate inspection reports and repair orders.
• Communicate with the Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule daily work.
• Consult with customers regarding repair and safety issues and discuss recommendations.
• Maintain company equipment, vehicle, and assets in safe working order.
• Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely; report deficiencies.
• Attend trainings and seminars; participate in HCSG 5 Marks program.
• Other duties as assigned.
