Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose, repair, upgrade and modernize cranes at customer sites. This role requires on-call availability, field leadership, and a focus on safety in a 24/7 service environment.

You will mentor technicians and coordinate with management to ensure timely job completion. The position demands extensive crane/mechanical knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in varied

Qualifications

• 5-7 years crane repair & maintenance experience.
• 3-4 years electrical and/or mechanical experience in lieu of crane repair.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Commitment to working safely at all times.
• Willingness to work at various heights and off the ground.
• Basic computer skills for web-based crane inspection programs.
• Ability to communicate well with others and work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of hand tools and/or possession of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Be on-call and provide after-hour services as required.
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and upgrade industrial hoists and cranes at customer sites.
• Train and mentor field technicians.
• Perform OSHA crane inspections and generate reports and repair orders.
• Communicate with Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule work.
• Consult with customers on repair and safety recommendations.
• Maintain company equipment, vehicle, and assets in safe condition.
• Operate tools and vehicles safely; report deficiencies to supervisor.
• Attend trainings and seminars; participate in HCSG 5 Marks program.
