Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Counsel – Litigation to join its in-house Legal Department in Pasadena.

This hands-on employment litigator will own matters from strategy to resolution, working closely with business leaders and coordinating with outside counsel as needed. The ideal candidate has seven-plus years of employment litigation experience, strong business judgment, and the ability to manage cases with limited oversight.

Qualifikationen

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership.
• At least seven years of relevant litigation experience, with substantial employment matters.
• Independently manage cases from discovery through trial preparation and resolution.
• First- or second-chair trial experience and meaningful arbitration or hearing experience.
• Direct client-contact experience and ability to advise stakeholders with limited oversight.
• Strong writing, analytical, negotiation, and oral communication skills.
• Initiative, leadership, professionalism, sound judgment, and integrity.

Aufgaben

• Independently manage employment litigation, administrative claims, regulatory inquiries, internal investigations, wage claims, and related disputes.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies aligned with business priorities and risk objectives.
• Lead law‑and‑motion and discovery; draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and correspondence; manage document collection and ESI.
• Prepare for, take, and defend depositions; lead mediations and arbitrations.
• Evaluate claims, propose resolution strategies, and negotiate settlements when appropriate.
• Provide practical advice to internal stakeholders on litigation risk and compliance.
• Coordinate with outside counsel when necessary and support traditional labor matters.
• Maintain direct relationships with internal clients and communicate case status to leadership.
