Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership.
• Seven+ years of relevant litigation experience, including employment matters.
• Ability to manage cases independently, including discovery, motions, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial prep.
• First- or second-chair trial experience and meaningful arbitration or hearing experience.
• Direct client-contact experience and ability to advise stakeholders with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage employment litigation, administrative claims, regulatory inquiries and audits, internal investigations, wage claims, and related disputes from inception through resolution.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies aligned with business priorities and risk management.
• Lead law-and-motion and discovery, draft motions/briefs/pleadings, manage document collection and ESI, respond to discovery.
• Prepare for, take, and defend depositions; lead mediations and arbitrations.
• Provide practical advice on litigation risk, dispute resolution, and compliance.
