Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking a Counsel - Litigation to join its growing Legal Department in an in-house role. You will handle employment litigation matters, pre-litigation issues, and internal investigations with guidance from senior attorneys and business partners.

You will develop litigation strategies, draft pleadings, and coordinate with outside counsel, while advising internal clients on risk and compliance. California Bar admission and 3–5 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school required.
• Active membership in good standing with the California Bar.
• 3–5 years of relevant litigation experience, with employment law focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support employment litigation matters, administrative claims, internal investigations, regulatory inquiries, and related disputes.
• Help develop litigation strategies aligned with business priorities and risk objectives.
• Draft motions, pleadings, correspondence, and discovery; assist with document collection and deposition prep.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed.
• Evaluate claims and contribute to settlement strategy and negotiations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to provide practical guidance on employment litigation risk and compliance matters.
