Inter‑Con Security Systems, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Counsel – Litigation to join its growing Legal Department in a hybrid role. This in‑house position focuses on employment litigation with significant case ownership and direct collaboration with business leaders.

The ideal candidate has substantial litigation experience, strong business judgment, and the ability to manage matters with limited oversight, including coordination with outside counsel as needed.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership.
• At least seven years of relevant litigation experience, with employment matters.
• Ability to manage matters independently, incl. discovery, motions, depositions, and trials.

Responsabilités

• Independently manage employment litigation, administrative claims, regulatory inquiries, audits, internal investigations, wage claims, and related disputes.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies aligned with business priorities and risk objectives.
• Lead law‑and‑motion and discovery work; draft motions, briefs, and pleadings; manage ESI and document production.
• Prepare for, take, and defend depositions; lead mediations and arbitrations.
• Evaluate claims, recommend resolutions, and negotiate settlements when appropriate.
• Provide proactive litigation risk guidance to internal stakeholders; coordinate with outside counsel when needed.
