Job summary

WPS Health Solutions seeks a Senior Business Systems Administrator to be the technical owner of Costpoint and related financial systems. You will lead complex configuration, integrations, and advanced troubleshooting to ensure secure, stable, and optimized performance across finance applications, while collaborating with Finance, Accounting, IT, and leadership.

This role offers hybrid work options with a 2-day-per-week presence near Madison, WI, and remote work in approved states including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years supporting financial systems or ERP platforms in admin, config, troubleshooting, and business analysis.
• Advanced Costpoint system administration with module config, data structures, workflow behavior, security management.
• Strong business analysis skills: requirements gathering, process mapping, and design of tech configurations.
• Experience with Cognos or similar BI/reporting tools and ERP integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead system administrator and technical owner of Costpoint, Time & Expense, Cognos, and related finance technology tools, providing expert configuration, advanced troubleshooting, and system stability oversight.
• Manage integrations and data flows, including API-based connections, middleware, ETL jobs, error handling processes, and cross-system data reconciliation.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve advanced system issues, including data structure anomalies, configuration defects, integration failures, and cross module impacts.
• Develop and validate complex reports, data models, and analytics, ensuring accuracy and consistency across operational and leadership reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation, identify opportunities to standardize workflows, optimize configurations, reduce manual effort, and enhance system reliability.
• Mentor junior administrators, provide technical guidance, review configuration work, raise standards for documentation, testing, and system design.
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation supporting audit readiness, governance, and sustainable system knowledge.
• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies, ensuring technical stories are well defined, dependencies understood, and delivery successful.
