Job summary

WPS, a health solutions company, seeks a Senior Business Systems Administrator to own Costpoint and related finance tech, ensuring secure, stable, and optimized performance across finance apps and integrations.

You will lead configuration, troubleshooting, and technical design, while also handling business analysis to align system improvements with operations. Hybrid work is available in Wisconsin with remote options in approved states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Five or more years supporting financial systems or ERP platforms in system administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and business-analysis activities.
• Advanced Costpoint expertise including module configuration, data structures, security, and cross-module dependencies.
• Strong business and systems analysis skills—requirements, gap analysis, process mapping, and design.
• Experience designing and implementing solutions for budgeting, forecasting, audit readiness, and financial reporting.
• Proficient with Cognos or similar BI/reporting tools.
• Deep understanding of ERP architectures, integrations, and API-based data exchange.
• Hands-on with middleware, ETL pipelines, and automation for data movement.

Responsibilities

• Lead system administrator and technical owner of Costpoint, Time & Expense, Cognos, and related finance tooling.
• Perform advanced configuration, troubleshooting, and ensure system stability across finance applications.
• Lead technical and functional analysis, translate needs into configuration requirements.
• Manage integrations and data flows, including API connections, middleware, and ETL jobs.
• Investigate and resolve complex system issues, data anomalies, and cross‑module impacts.
• Develop and validate complex reports, data models, and leadership dashboards.
• Drive automation and standardization to improve reliability and reduce manual work.
• Mentor junior admins; enforce documentation, testing, and design standards.
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation for audits and governance.
• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies; ensure well-defined technical stories and dependencies.
