Job summary

WPS Health Solutions in Madison, WI is seeking a Senior Business Systems Administrator to serve as the technical owner of Costpoint and related financial tools. You will lead advanced configuration, integrations, and troubleshooting while aligning with Finance and IT to deliver scalable financial system solutions.

You will guide analytics, develop complex reports, and mentor junior staff, ensuring audit readiness and robust governance across finance applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five+ years supporting financial systems or ERP platforms in admin, config, troubleshooting and analysis.
• Advanced Costpoint administration including module config, security, and cross-module dependencies.
• Strong business and systems analysis: requirements, mapping, and technical translations.
• Experience designing solutions for budgeting, forecasting, audit readiness and reporting.
• Ability to develop and interpret complex reports and data models; Cognos expertise.
• Deep understanding of ERP architecture, integrations, and API data exchange.
• Hands-on experience with middleware, ETL, automation, and error handling.
• Progressive troubleshooting experience and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for stakeholder guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead system administrator and technical owner of Costpoint and related tools.
• Lead technical and functional analysis efforts; translate business needs into configurations.
• Manage integrations and data flows including API connections and ETL jobs.
• Investigate and resolve advanced system issues across modules.
• Develop, validate, and interpret complex reports and data models.
• Drive continuous improvement; standardize workflows and automate where possible.
• Mentor junior admins; raise standards for documentation, testing and design.
• Maintain system documentation for audit readiness and governance.
• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies with well-defined technical stories.
• Other duties as assigned.
