Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to support a portfolio of workplace, commercial, and capital improvement projects across North America. The role covers budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, change management, and financial reporting with collaboration across project teams and external cost consultants.

Experience with tenant improvements, renovations, decommissioning, or similar capital projects is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Cost Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in construction cost management, quantity surveying, cost controls, or project controls.
• Experience leading cost management services on medium to large-scale construction projects; RICS accreditation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide estimate and cost planning to include final cost plan.
• Review and participate with design services and GC in cost estimates.
• Reconcile changes and ensure contractor data accuracy.
• Coordinate all sources of cost information for discussions and decisions.
• Prepare cost reports and executive summaries for stakeholders.
• Manage cost checks, valuations, budgets, forecasts, and expenditures.
• Support post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
• Mentor talent and drive leadership in project delivery.
