Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in construction or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of cost management experience.
• RICS accreditation preferred.
• Experience leading cost management on medium/large projects of medium to high complexity.
• Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.

Aufgaben

• Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide estimate and cost planning including final cost plan.
• Review and participate with design services and GC in cost estimates.
• Reconcile changes and assist GC with accurate data.
• Prepare cost estimate updates with status information from GC and owner.
• Prepare executive summaries for submissions.
• Coordinate all cost information from various sources for discussions and VE sessions.
• Inform and drive engineering priorities based on cost impact.
• Manage cost checks and valuations on larger projects.
• Participate in post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
• Manage cost impact/contingency tracking logs.
• Prepare funding data presentations and VE coordination.
• Develop cost plans through design phases and update at milestones.
• Provide commercial input to design optioneering and value engineering.
• Review contractor pricing and lead negotiations for fair contracts.
• Perform quantity surveying, cost controls, and change management throughout lifecycle.
• Ensure post-contract variances and change control are managed effectively.
• Ensure cost auditing/validation processes are robust.
