Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to support large-scale industrial and manufacturing projects in the United States. The role focuses on cost planning, change management, and value engineering across phased and fast-track environments.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in cost management or QS roles, excellent stakeholder management, and a strong understanding of procurement routes and cost control. On-site presence is expected where required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, or quantity surveying.
• 5-7+ years in cost management or quantity surveying within construction.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large projects is preferred.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing retrofit environments is a plus.
• RICS accreditation or progress toward certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders across the construction lifecycle.
• Provide cost planning, final cost plan, and value engineering input.
• Coordinate with design teams, GC, and subcontractors on estimates.
• Track contingency and logs across project phases.
• Produce monthly cost reports and support post-contract cost management.
