Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management for key client programs in commercial real estate. You will manage internal and external stakeholders, drive high-quality services, and provide leadership for cost management and project controls.

The role requires strong communication, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently or with a team, with a focus on delivering value in complex construction projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or related field.
• Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in cost management within the construction industry, including commercial real estate.
• Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred.
• RICS certification or pursuing accreditation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management services for complex commercial real estate programs.
• Interface with clients, stakeholders, and consultants across project stages.
• Perform quantity surveying, cost control, and change management across full lifecycle.
• Coordinate with general contractors and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery.
• Set strategy for cost management practices and mentor team members.
• Manage financial performance, margins, and resource planning.
