Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management on large-scale data center projects from planning through closeout. You will interact with clients, design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure objectives are achieved with high-quality cost control and value engineering.

The role requires extensive experience in cost planning, change management, and negotiations, with strong communication skills and a proactive, client-facing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or related field.
• 5–7 years of cost management experience in the construction industry.
• RICS accreditation preferred or working toward it.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large projects of medium to high complexity.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders across the construction lifecycle.
• Provide estimate and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
• Review and participate with the design services team and GC in developing cost estimates.
• Reconcile changes and assist GC to ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare cost estimate updates and executive summaries for stakeholders.
• Coordinate all sources of cost information from subs, vendors, and designers.
• Develop cost plans and estimates through the design phase and milestones.
