Job summary

Stratolaunch seeks a Principal Cost Account Manager to lead cost governance and EVMS across major development and test campaigns. The role partners with Program Management, Engineering, and Operations to ensure disciplined cost performance in multi-year programs, with an emphasis on strategic financial health and technical collaboration.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in program controls, cost management or financial leadership in aerospace/defense/high-tech fields.
• Experience managing cost for programs exceeding $50M–$100M annually.
• Expert knowledge of EVMS, government reporting, baseline planning and performance management.
• Strong analytical and strategic-thinking capabilities, including forecasting.
• Ability to influence technical and programmatic decisions with financial insight.
• Certifications such as PMP/EVMP are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own cost, schedule, and EVMS for complex development and flight-test scope.
• Lead control account planning, baselining, and resource allocation.
• Perform trend analysis and multi-scenario forecasting; integrate risks into cost projections.
• Prepare monthly performance reports and executive briefings; drive recovery plans as needed.
• Mentor analysts on EVMS, forecasting, and program financial discipline.
