Job summary

Stratolaunch is seeking a Staff Cost Account Manager to lead cost control and EVMS for aerospace programs at Mojave. The role partners with Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance to forecast and drive cost performance in multi‑discipline teams.

The candidate will manage control accounts, mentor analysts, support financial reviews, and ensure EVMS compliance. This position operates on site in Mojave, CA with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in cost control, earned value management, financial planning and analysis, or program controls.
• Experience managing complex development or test program budgets exceeding $30M annually.
• Strong EVMS, WBS development, baseline planning, and financial variance analysis.
• Ability to support engineering, supply chain, and program management in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own cost responsibility for assigned control accounts and align cost, schedule, and technical scope.
• Mentor cost analysts and early-career CAMs on EVMS, forecasting, and financial discipline.
• Produce regular cost performance reports, variance explanations, and briefing materials.
• Lead EVMS processes, including ETC revisions and monthly performance reporting.
• Support customer reviews, contract audits, and negotiations related to cost adjustments.
