Job summary

Stratolaunch in Mojave, California, seeks a Staff Cost Account Manager to lead cost control, EVMS planning, and forecast execution across aerospace development and test programs.

You will partner with Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting, risk mitigation, and compliant cost reporting. 10+ years in cost control and earned value management are required, with experience managing programs >$30M annually.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in cost control, EVMS, FP&A, or program controls in aerospace/high-tech.
• Experience managing complex programs with budgets exceeding $30M annually.
• Strong understanding of EVMS, WBS, baseline planning, and cost variance analysis.
• Matrixed organization experience with engineering, supply chain, and program management.
• Ability to translate technical scope into accurate cost plans and forecasts.
• Advanced MS Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with EVMS/ERP tools.

Responsibilities

• Own cost responsibility for assigned control accounts; ensure alignment of cost, schedule and scope.
• Mentor junior cost analysts and CAMs on EVMS, forecasting and financial discipline.
• Lead EVMS processes, variance analysis, ETC revisions, and monthly cost reporting.
• Develop CAPs with WBS mapping, baseline planning, and resource allocation.
• Monitor actual costs, commitments, and accruals to meet program objectives.
• Produce regular cost performance reports and brief leadership on financials.
• Support customer cost reviews, contract audits, and revenue forecasting.
• Lead risk and opportunity identification related to cost controls.
