Stratolaunch seeks a Principal Cost Account Manager with 15+ years of experience in program controls, earned value management, and financial leadership for large aerospace programs. This on-site role partners with Program Management, Engineering, and Operations to ensure disciplined cost performance across complex, multi-year campaigns.

The successful candidate will influence technical decisions, guide cross-functional teams, and drive long-term financial health in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in program controls, cost management, or financial leadership in aerospace/defense/high-technology fields.
• Experience managing cost performance for multi-year programs exceeding $50M–$100M annually.
• Expert knowledge of EVMS principles and government reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical and strategic-thinking capabilities with forecasting skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior cost authority for major program segments, driving strategy and governance of cost performance.
• Own cost, schedule, and earned value performance for highly complex development and flight-test scope.
• Oversee cost modeling, reporting infrastructure, and EVMS processes; mentor teams on best practices.
• Support customer-facing cost reviews, contract audits, and negotiations related to cost adjustments or scope changes.
• Lead risk and opportunity identification, mitigation planning, and ensure compliance with cost accounting standards.
• Mentor analysts and cross-functional teammates on EVMS, forecasting, and program financial discipline.
