Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Specialist to lead cost control and EVM activities within the Air & Space Defense Systems business area. You will manage Earned Value, estimates at completion, and program funding reports, coordinating with directors, managers, and customers to align strategy and budgets.

The ideal candidate has strong EVMS experience, program controls, and advanced MS Office skills, with a background in defense financial processes.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 3 years experience.
• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Program Controls (Cost/Schedule), and/or EAC Process.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and/or PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Help establish and maintain the overall baseline that is compliant with the program instruction, internal EVM policy and 10255
• Support and develop the detailed cost CDRLs including CFSRs, Cost Data Summary Report, and Functional Cost Hour Report
• Coordinate development of quarterly Estimates at Complete, BCR coordination and implementation
• Provide thorough cost and schedule analysis
• Partnership with Program Management and cross functional leads to support program execution
• Prepare finance charts for Program Management Reviews and other reporting activities as required
