Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate; related college courses highly desirable.
• At least three (3) years of experience working in a correctional setting with supervisory duties.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of personalities.
• Knowledge of laws relating to corrections and court orders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise correctional personnel and maintain order.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
• Direct staff including hiring, training, and evaluating performance; disciplinary actions.
• Prepare records and reports; maintain daily logs.
