Job summary

Lob is transforming how businesses use direct mail with a technology-powered logistics and fulfillment engine. We’re building a team to shape the future of direct mail and seek a Corporate Counsel to lead complex agreements and advise product teams.

You will own drafting, review, and negotiation of enterprise SaaS, vendor contracts, and data privacy programs, including GDPR/CCPA and DPA work, while shaping governance across the business. We offer remote opportunities across many states.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active state bar membership.
• Familiar with enterprise SaaS risks and business issues.
• Ability to manage high volume work and provide practical legal advice.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements (enterprise SaaS, partnerships, vendor contracts).
• Advise Product and Engineering teams throughout development lifecycle on regulatory, IP, and contractual matters.
• Shape data privacy strategy, conduct privacy impact assessments, and negotiate DPAs.
• Oversee corporate compliance programs, policies, and training initiatives.
• Develop scalable legal workflows and self-service templates to accelerate execution.
• Collaborate with General Counsel on special projects and strategic initiatives.
