Job summary

Lob is transforming direct mail with a modern logistics and fulfillment engine. We are building a team to shape the future of direct mail and seek a Corporate Counsel to lead end-to-end contract work, privacy initiatives, and regulatory compliance across our enterprise SaaS and partner ecosystem.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, and leadership to scale legal operations, implement automated workflows, and support go-to-market strategies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house.
• Bachelor or JD with bar admission in good standing.
• Experience advising on enterprise SaaS, data privacy, and regulatory issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements including enterprise SaaS, partnerships, and vendor contracts.
• Advise Product and Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle with regulatory, IP, and contractual frameworks for go-to-market launches.
• Contribute to data privacy strategy, translate GDPR/CCPA into actionable practices, conduct impact assessments, and negotiate data processing agreements.
• Oversee corporate compliance programs, internal policies, and targeted vendor audits.
• Develop scalable legal workflows, templates, and cross-functional playbooks to accelerate execution.
• Partner with General Counsel on special projects and broader strategic initiatives.
