Job summary

BMO Harris Bank in the United States is seeking an Account Manager to build long-term relationships with Commercial Card clients. You will manage a portfolio from acquisition to activation and through the full lifecycle, identifying growth opportunities and acting as a trusted advisor and escalation point.

Reporting to the Commercial Sales & Service group, you will apply consultative sales and treasury solutions, oversee implementations, coordinate across teams, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Sales and treasury management, financial operations or risk management in a corporate or banking environment is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred; Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.
• Must have Commercial Banking experience
• Must have Treasury experience
• Must have corporate card experience
• Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build strategic relationships with prospects and clients to cross-sell treasury and cash management solutions.
• Close complex deals with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Assess potential risks within client portfolios and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Oversee client implementation activities and provide feedback for process improvements.
• Represent the bank at industry events to identify new opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives.
• Manage databases and ensure data governance alignment.
• Drive large-scale workflow improvements across treasury and payments.
• Grow high-value client relationships with strategic financial solutions.
• Analyze client and industry data to tailor solutions and optimize working capital.
• Collaborate with teams to define products and strategies for clients.
• Promote NA TPS digital products and solutions.
• Support implementation activities including docs, pricing, timelines.
• Ensure regulatory, controls and compliance adherence.
• Operate enterprise-wide as a specialist resource to senior leadership.
• Apply expertise to solve complex, non-routine problems.
• Adapt to shifting trends and implement changes.
