Job summary

BMO Financial Group seeks an Account Manager to build long-term trusted relationships with Commercial Card customers, guiding them from onboarding through the account lifecycle and identifying growth opportunities. You will act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is required.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in Sales, treasury management, financial operations or risk management is preferred.
• Must have Commercial Banking experience.
• Must have Treasury experience.
• Must have corporate card experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads business development by building relationships with prospects and clients and identifying cross-sell opportunities.
• Leads complex deal closures with internal teams to ensure efficient execution and compliance.
• Evaluates potential risks within client portfolios and ensures regulatory standards are met.
• Oversees client implementations to ensure timely delivery and provide feedback for improvements.
• Serves as a subject matter expert delivering treasury solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Represents the organization at industry forums to identify new business opportunities.
• Coordinates cross-functional initiatives to align with business goals and drive operational excellence.
• Manages databases and ensures data alignment and governance.
• Champions process optimization by leading large-scale workflow improvements.
• Builds strong long-term relationships with high-value clients and provides strategic guidance.
