Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training.
• 3+ years editorial experience and 2+ years educational assessment experience.
• End-to-end copyediting proficiency in spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax and usage.
• Comfort with major style guides (Chicago, Gregg, Garner’s).

Responsibilities

• Implements grammar, usage, and style per standards across assessment components.
• Ensures uniformity and consistency; identifies errors throughout the workday.
• Applies client style guidelines and queries deviations when needed.
• Understands editors' scope and flags concerns; helps refine guidelines.
• Seeks learning opportunities to strengthen editorial expertise and tool knowledge.
• Leads editorial coordination; mentors and trains colleagues when assigned.
