Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Paradise Valley, AZ seeks a Convention Services Manager to oversee all aspects of events from initial client contact through post-event follow-up.

You will coordinate client needs, manage daily event schedules, track budgets and labor, and ensure accurate banquet orders. The role requires strong communication, hospitality experience, and proficiency with Delphi and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Two years of college completed or equivalent.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Delphi experience
• MS Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Anticipate client and individual guest needs associated with execution of event
• Resolve complaints and requests to client satisfaction.
• Maintain complete knowledge of daily scheduled group functions, times, locations, amount of people and specified requirements.
• Review sales and labor costs for previous day; resolve discrepancies with Accounting. Track actuals against budget.
• Manage group room blocks up until contracted “cut off”
• Prepare accurate deposit invoices
• Review Final bill for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare and distribute, in a timely manner, accurate Banquet event orders.
