Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Controls Technician III to support the automated distribution center in New York. You will design, install, diagnose, and repair MHE control systems, PLCs, and I/O wiring to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency.

BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Facilities/Plant Management with 4+ years of experience is preferred; CAD and PLC skills essential; leadership duties may be required and CMMS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or facilities/plant management preferred.
• Four years related experience with strong electrical background.
• Ability to read CAD layouts, IPB diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing PLCs, controls, and MHE systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and diagnose facility and MHE control systems in a fully automated DC.
• Install PLCs, remote I/O modules, and analog/digital I/O for equipment control.
• Lead maintenance team as needed and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage CMMS/EAM records and spare parts inventory.
