Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Controls Tech to design, install, program, and diagnose automated MHE control systems in a fully automated distribution center. You will install PLCs, remote I/O, and digital/analog I/O, and lead troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

The role requires strong electrical knowledge, ability to read schematics, and experience with PLCs and HMI systems. A BS degree and several years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Facilities/Plant Management preferred; technical training or equivalent.
• Normally requires four (4) years related experience; strong electrical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure preventative maintenance plans for facility equipment and systems.
• Diagnose Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking System issues and repair.
• Oversee maintenance, modifications, and system upgrades of MHE controls.
• Assess efficiency of MHE and automated systems; implement modifications.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to maintain productivity.
• Maintain CMMS/EAM system for repairs and parts.
• Manage spare parts inventory.
• Willing to work extended hours to meet productivity goals.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
