Job summary

Cencora is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our automated distribution center in the United States. Under supervision, you will diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on complex equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, and motors.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably a CFM certification. Shift: Mon–Fri 2:00 PM–10:30 PM. Pay: $36–$40/hr with differential; full-time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering technology, electrical engineering technology, mechatronics, facilities management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, maintenance operations, industrial maintenance, building systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintains effective preventative maintenance plans and schedules for all facility equipment and systems.
• Diagnoses Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking System-related errors and performs repairs.
• Oversees maintenance, modifications, and system upgrades of Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking System controls.
• Assesses efficiency of equipment and defines necessary modifications.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance to sustain productivity in warehouse operations.
• Maintains CMMS/EAM records for repairs and part inventory.
• Manages inventory of spare parts.
• Willing to work extended hours to meet productivity goals.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
