Job summary

Cencora is hiring a Controls Technician II to support our distribution services in the US. The role focuses on maintenance and repair of facility equipment and automated material handling systems in the Buford, GA area.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, read CAD layouts, and work with PLCs/HMIs and various control networks. Strong electrical background and at least two years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires technical vocational training or equivalent; two years of related experience preferred.
• Strong electrical background and hands-on maintenance experience.
• Ability to read CAD layouts and electrical diagrams.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and MHE control systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensures preventive maintenance plans and schedules for facility equipment and systems.
• Diagnoses MHE and Automated Picking System related errors and repairs accordingly.
• Oversees maintenance, modifications, and upgrades of MHE controls and systems.
• Maintains CMMS/EAM records for repairs and spare parts.
• Willing to work extended hours to meet productivity goals.
