Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Controls Technician to support its automated distribution center. You will design, install, program, and diagnose MHE control systems including PLCs, remote I/O, and HMI interfaces to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics of electrical and mechanical issues up to 600 volts, and CMMS/EAM updates. A BS in engineering and 4 years of related experience are preferred; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum four years related experience; strong electrical background preferred.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and MHE systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain automation equipment in a fully automated Distribution Center.
• Design, install, program, diagnose MHE control systems including PLCs and remote I/O.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues up to 600V.
• Maintain CMMS/EAM records and spare parts inventory.
• Work extended hours to meet productivity goals.
