Job summary

Meritas Advisory Group, LLC is seeking a Controls Engineer for their manufacturing facility in the southwest Atlanta metro area. The role focuses on troubleshooting, programming, and integration of automation systems within an Allen Bradley PLC environment.

Responsibilities include project leadership, FAT, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical skills, PLC programming experience, and familiarity with robotics and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education with related work experience and/or training.
• Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years as a controls engineer.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical/controls on production equipment.
• Modify machine control programs to improve safety and efficiency.
• Lead manufacturing projects from initiation to completion with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports and FAT documentation.
