Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer for our southwest Atlanta metro facility. The role involves troubleshooting, programming, and integrating equipment and automation systems in an Allen-Bradley PLC environment.

You will support stamping, zinc die casting, plating/finishing and assembly processes while driving safety and efficiency improvements. The position includes relocation assistance, a strong benefits package, and a competitive salary with a 410K

Qualifications

Four years of technical education or degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years.
Experience in Allen-Bradley PLC environments and control system design.
Ability to read electrical schematics and interpret control layouts.

Responsibilities

Maintain relationships with Maintenance, Toolroom, Manufacturing Engineering, Technology Team, and Production to support operations.
Perform electrical troubleshooting on equipment from 24V to 480V circuits and diagnose faults.
Provide controls engineering support including design, wiring, PLC/ HMI programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Lead projects by coordinating activities, timelines, and requirements with stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain technical reports, FAT, and documentation for control systems.
Ensure safety compliance with OHSA and internal EHS standards.
