Job summary

Major and well established company in the Atlanta area is seeking a Controls Engineer to work at their manufacturing facility in the southwest suburban Atlanta metropolitan area. The role includes troubleshooting, programming, and integrating equipment and automation systems to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime.

The environment is Allen Bradley PLC based with stamping, zinc die casting, plating/finishing and assembly processes.

Qualifications

• Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education in conjunction with related work experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prefer at least 2 years as a controls engineer, but will consider 2+ years.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment and automation systems across departments.
• Electrical troubleshooting on production equipment from 24V to 480V circuits.
• Support manufacturing projects with controls engineering expertise including PLC/HMI programming and FAT.
