Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a Controls Engineer for a major manufacturing facility in the southwest Atlanta metropolitan area. The role involves troubleshooting, programming, and integrating electrical and control systems to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime.
The position operates in an Allen Bradley PLC environment with processes including stamping, zinc die casting, plating/finishing, and assembly.
Qualifications
- Four years of technical education or degree, or two years with related work experience.
- Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years.
Responsabilités
- Maintain effective working relationships with related departments to support operations and improvements.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting on production equipment from 24V to 480V circuits.
- Provide controls engineering expertise for projects: design, PLC/HMI programming, commissioning, troubleshooting.
- Lead manufacturing projects by coordinating activities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare technical reports and FAT-related documentation for controls engineering activities.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and standards.
