Job summary

Key People is seeking a Controls Engineer for our southwest suburban Atlanta manufacturing facility. The role offers relocation assistance, a robust 410K with 100% match up to 5%, and bonus potential.

The engineer will troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment in an Allen Bradley PLC environment across stamping, die casting, plating, finishing, and assembly processes. Responsibilities include leading projects, designing control solutions, and ensuring safety and uptime.

Qualifications

• Four years of technical education or degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider 2+ years.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical/control systems on production equipment (24V to 480V).
• Program/modify PLC/HMI logic to improve safety and efficiency.
• Lead or support manufacturing projects from initiation through commissioning.
• Prepare technical reports and FAT documentation for controls work.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal EHS standards.
