Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer for our southwest Atlanta metro area manufacturing facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting, programming, and integrating equipment and automation systems to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime.

The position operates in an Allen Bradley PLC environment with exposure to stamping, zinc die casting, plating/finishing, and assembly processes. A strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and project leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Four years of technical education or degree, or equivalent experience.
• Prefer 5+ years as a controls engineer, but 2+ years will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and control systems on production equipment.
• Modify machine programs and support/lead automation projects from start to finish.
• Collaborate across maintenance, engineering, and production to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime.
• Design and document control alterations, FATs, and energy improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
