Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC seeks a skilled Controls Engineer for its southwest Atlanta manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot, program, and integrate automation systems in an Allen-Bradley PLC environment, driving safety and uptime improvements.

Responsibilities include electrical troubleshooting, machine modifications, and leading projects from start to finish, coordinating with internal teams and vendors. Relocation assistance and a strong benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Electrical troubleshooting on production equipment from 24V to 480V.
• PLC/HMI programming and commissioning in a controls environment.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC and factory automation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagnose control faults.
• Familiar with Robotic platforms and motion control basics.
• Design modifications to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, program and integrate equipment and automation systems.
• Lead or support manufacturing projects from initiation to completion.
• Prepare technical reports and FAT-related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and EHS standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and external contractors.
• Support energy and process optimization initiatives.
