Job summary

Ilocatum is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer for their southwest Atlanta metro manufacturing site. The role focuses on troubleshooting, programming, and integrating automated equipment in an Allen Bradley PLC environment, with emphasis on safety and uptime.

Responsibilities include design modifications, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration across Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production.

Qualifications

• Four years of technical education or degree or equivalent work experience.
• Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer; will consider 2+ years with relevant background.
• Experience in 24V to 480V control circuits and PLC/HMI programming.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment and automation systems.
• Lead or support projects from initiation to completion.
• Improve equipment safety, efficiency, and uptime in an Allen-Bradley PLC environment.
• Prepare technical reports and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
