Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Controls Engineer for a major manufacturing facility in the southwest Atlanta metro area. You will troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment and automation systems to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime in an Allen-Bradley PLC environment.

The role spans stamping, zinc die casting, plating/finishing and assembly. A strong compensation package, relocation assistance, and bonus potential accompany the opportunity.

Qualifications

• Four years of technical education or degree or equivalent combination.
• Preference for 5+ years as a controls engineer; 2+ years acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and control systems on production equipment.
• Modify PLC/HMI programs to improve safety and efficiency.
• Lead or support manufacturing projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors for project delivery.
• Prepare technical reports and FAT documentation.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and standards.
