Job summary

Funnel Leasing Inc. is seeking a Controller who can work from anywhere in the U.S. to own financial reporting, accounting operations, and tax compliance while driving system and process improvements. You will provide strategic financial guidance to leadership and manage audits and acquisitions.

The role emphasizes strong internal controls, treasury functions, and opportunities to scale finance systems; Tampa Bay focus with the flexibility to commute to Odessa HQ 1–2 days per week as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• CPA license (active or inactive).
• 7+ years of accounting experience with progression.
• SaaS experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with QBO, Chargebee, Chargebee RevRec, Teampay, Avalara, FloQast.

Responsibilities

• Oversee GAAP financial reporting and monthly/quarterly/annual statements.
• Manage annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Supervise Accounting Manager and staff.
• Oversee payroll, AP/AR, and internal controls.
• Identify automation and efficiency improvements.
