Job summary

Lighthouse Lab Services is seeking a seasoned Controller to lead the Accounting & Finance team in a high-velocity, multi-service environment. This remote, full-time role reports to the CFO and focuses on strengthening financial operations, close processes, and internal controls to support strategic growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting and financial experience, with at least 5 years in a Controller-level role.
• Experience in public accounting and private equity environment.
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.

Responsibilities

• Lead accurate and timely financial reporting and monthly close.
• Oversee revenue recognition, billing, AR, AP, payroll, and general ledger.
• Manage project-based accounting, WIP, and financial analysis.
• Support inventory, warehouse, procurement, and product-related processes.
• Oversee tax compliance, including sales tax.
• Manage cash balances and forecasts.
• Establish and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and KPI development.
• Support acquisitions and financial consolidations.
