Job summary

A La Carte Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Controller to serve as the financial steward for multiple private clients in a fully remote capacity.

You will oversee financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls while mentoring a remote team of accountants. The role requires leading budgets, forecasts, and monthly statements, translating data into strategic insights, and driving process improvements across client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required or equivalent.
• CPA preferred; public accounting background valued.
• Minimum 8–10 years accounting experience in private/entrepreneurial firms.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based accounting systems (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite).
• Ability to lead, mentor remote team and manage multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee client financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
• Own the accounting function including GAAP adherence and tax compliance.
• Translate data into actionable insights for client goals.
• Lead budgets, forecasts, and monthly reports.
• Mentor Shared Services Specialists and Accountants; manage projects.
