Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson (NSM) is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to develop PLC and HMI software for new ASU plant control systems. You will work with the Control Systems Manager to ensure projects are on budget and on schedule, and communicate needs and status to the team.

The role requires substantial experience in PLC programming, HMI platforms, and networking protocols, with frequent coordination with project managers, vendors, and field personnel. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 7–9 years minimum control systems programming experience.
• 10 years of equivalent experience accepted in lieu of 7–9 years.

Responsibilities

• Complete PLC programming for new ASU plant control systems.
• Integrate plant equipment (SCADA, MV/LV, analyzers) into control systems.
• Provide commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting support of control systems.
