Job summary

Saulsbury Industries seeks a control systems engineer to design and implement PLC/DCS programs and HMIs for large industrial projects in midstream gas processing, refining, and petrochem.

You will lead system integration, perform FATs/ commissioning, and coordinate with other disciplines. Requires BS in EE, 5+ years (10+ preferred), Allen Bradley ControlLogix and Wonderware HMI experience, EIT or licensing path, and willingness to travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent I/E & control experience.
• 5+ years experience required; 10+ years preferred.
• Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs and Wonderware HMI.
• DeltaV programming a plus.
• Industrial networking experience a plus.
• EIT licensure required or ability to obtain after joining.
• Must have troubleshooting and commissioning/start-up experience.
• Willing to travel up to 30%.
• Strong verbal and written communication; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Act as a control systems engineer for selected projects.
• Interact with other disciplines, engineering and construction project managers, and clients.
• Provide input to initial project schedule and support maintaining project schedules.
• Lead for process quality reviews and drawing approvals.
• Responsible for PLC/DCS programming and HMI configuration.
• Perform software and hardware FATs and hardware acceptance tests for plant control systems.
• Provide man-hour and equipment estimates for project proposals.
• Able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with others.
