Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson is seeking a junior control systems engineer to join our team in Irving, TX, to develop the control system framework for new ASU plant control systems. You’ll work with the Control Systems Manager to complete assignments on schedule and within budget, coordinating with vendors, field technicians, and project managers.

The ideal candidate has a relevant engineering degree and 1–3 years of control systems programming, with experience in PLCs and HMIs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET-accredited university.
1-3 years of control systems programming; 5 years equivalent accepted.
Experience with PLC platforms: Siemens S7, S5/CTI, Allen-Bradley.
Experience with HMI/visualization: Ignition, WinCC, SIMATIC HMI.
IT/OT networking and SQL database management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop PLC programming framework for new ASU plant control systems.
Develop initial HMI visualization for new ASU plant control systems.
Develop hardware configuration for control systems and plant network architecture.
Provide commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting support on-site.
Coordinate with project managers, vendor engineers, field technicians, and contractors.
Assist with FAT and SAT of all control systems hardware and software.
