Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement to drive data-driven lean initiatives across multiple operations. You will lead CI resources, coach teams, and partner with senior leaders to deliver safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.

Travel up to 50% is required as you support startup, retrofit, and expansion efforts while promoting Ryder's continuous improvement culture through analytics, engineering methods, and Lean tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management is required.
• Nine years or more in the Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics industry.
• Expertise in Lean Six Sigma and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of CI engineering and quality professionals. Lead employment decisions and manage performance.
• Lead development and execution of strategy, scorecarding and KPI action plans.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring in Lean methods and data analytics.
• Direct the assessment, development, and implementation of lean processes across accounts.
